Stop Bullying!

#StopBullying
As Buddhist we want to tell the world that we are against bullying. There are about 350 million Buddhist around the world, which takes up 6% of the world’s population. As a group we want to stop bullying. Face book and twitter is against bullying also, and they are helping us tell the world that bullying should stop. There are about 800 million active Face book users and about 500 million active twitter users. Together we can spread the word, and stop bullying. Follow and Visit st0pbully1ng.tumblr.com twittervsbullying.tumblr.com and facebookvsbullying.tumblr.com on Tumblr to see what we have been up too. From a Buddhist:
Tibetan teacher and founder of the Shambhala Tradition, Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, often talked about the poverty mentality. He was referring to the feeling that you aren’t good enough or don’t have enough. This can lead to aggression. When someone exposes our weaknesses, it can be painful and we can quickly feel victimized. We start feeling sorry for ourselves and even incomplete. The more we think about it, the more we become a victim in the sense that our negative emotions take hold and lead us down darker paths. Instead of being a victim, be present with those raw feelings, whether they are anger, pain or helplessness.Take a deep breath and recognize what those emotions feel like in your body. Then let them go and move on with your life.
