AVIATION SAFETY SAFETY VS. MISSION WHATEVER SAFETY STANDARDS ARE IMPOSED DURING PEACETIME SHOULD WORK EQUALLY WELL DURING WAR DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES CAN BE DONE SAFELY, IF THE RISKS ARE CORRECTLY IDENTIFIED AND MINIMISED

AVIATION SAFETY THERE IS A TENDENCY IN AVIATION TO REWARD RESULTS RATHER THAN THE METHOD TO BE CONSISTENT, WE SHOULD SET OUR STANDARDS FOR OPERATION AND REWARD OR PUNISH ANYONE IN CONFORMANCE OR OTHERWISE OF THESE STANDARDS

AVIATION SAFETY IF THE RESULTS DO NOT MEASURE UP, WE SHOULD CHANGE OUR STANDARDS, BUT WE SHOULD NEVER CHANGE OUR REWARD-PUNISHMENT SYSTEM, I.E., IF AN ORDER IS TO BE FOLLOWED IT HAS TO BE THIS WAY, WE WOULD BUILD A STRONG WORK FORCE OF PEOPLE WHO KNEW IF THEY FOLLOWED THE RULES; THEY WOULD SUCCEED AND BE REWARDED
