You can see birds flying around with small twigs in their beaks. It takes a lot of time and effort to build a nest

This bird is collecting soft material to line the inside of its nest.

Then the female bird will lay her eggs.

Baby animals are being born
As the weather gets warmer lots of baby animals are born.

This means that they will have plenty to eat and it won’t be too cold for them as they grow bigger and stronger.

Weather is changeable
In the Springtime the weather can be dry and warm and then cold or wet.

Sometimes it can be hard deciding what to wear.

You can go out without a coat but its safer to take a jacket with you.

The days are getting longer and its lighter when you get up and when you go to bed.

Frogs and Toads in the pond
Frogs and toads are laying their eggs in the pond. This is called spawn.

Soon you will see tadpoles in the pond
