Kayla Yvette Womack Raises Funds For Komen 3-Day

Kayla Yvette Womack began her professional career while she was pursuing her graduation at Dalton State College, Dalton, Georgia from where he attained her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Management.

During her final year, she got appointed as a Staff Accountant at Aaron Rents, Inc., Kennesaw, GA in May 2007 and after a period of almost 9 months, she got promoted to the post of a Senior Staff Accountant where her role was to supervise four staff accountants.

She was also responsible for approving, reviewing and training on a daily as well as monthly basis. Some other responsibilities at Aaron Rents, Inc. feature preparing daily and monthly reconciliations of tele-check, lockbox, online payments, Canadian depository and credit card accounts; working closely with various other departments to ensure the completion of month end close process within the stipulated time; maintaining all electronic files for the Treasury Manager and department; preparing Bank Report Cards for the top ten banking relationships maintained by the company; proposing new procedures that help to simplify both daily and monthly reconciliation processes for all the Staff Accountants as well as the Treasury Management department.

In July 2009, Kayla Yvette Womack received Masters Degree in Accounting from Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, Georgia.

She joined Air Serv Corporation, Atlanta, GA in September 2010, and served the organization as an Accounting Manager till April 2012. At present, she works as a Senior Accountant for Interstate National Dealer Services, Atlanta, GA.

Besides this, she is actively associated with The Boobie Bunch, a group of 4 women who participate in the 3-day, 60-mile walk for Susan G. Komen every year.

They walk to raise money for helping to find a cure for Cancer. Till now, Kayla has raised more than $10K donations and the money raised by the entire group accounts to over $50K.

A major portion of the funds raised by the Komen 3-Day are used to help national research and large public health outreach programs and the remaining amount is utilized for helping local community and Affiliate support and outreach programs financially.

When Kayla Yvette Womack gets some time off from work and her dedicated endeavors for Komen 3-Day, she involves herself in painting, building puzzles, exercising and spending time with her dogs.
